Assembly Instructions

Operating the Mower

Starting: Set throttle to FAST, choke if cold, pull recoil or turn key. Mowing: Engage blade control, walk at desired pace.

  4. Walk forward; Personal Pace® will engage.
  5. Overlap passes by 2 inches for even cut.
  6. Empty bag when indicator shows full.
  7. To switch to mulching: Install mulch plug, close side discharge.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Avoid mowing in extreme heat.

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance ensures long life.

  1. Before each use: Check oil, inspect blade for damage, clear deck of debris.
  2. Every 25 hours: Change oil (or annually), check air filter, sharpen blade.
  3. Every 50 hours: Replace spark plug, clean under deck.
  4. Seasonal: Lubricate wheels and cables, check tire pressure.
  5. Storage: Drain fuel or add stabilizer, clean thoroughly.

WARNING! Disconnect spark plug before performing any maintenance.

Storage Instructions

Prepare mower for off-season storage.

  1. Clean under deck using washout port.
  2. Drain fuel or add fuel stabilizer and run engine 5 minutes.
