Specifications

Controls and Operation

Familiarize yourself with all controls before starting.

Starting: For electric start models: Insert key, press primer bulb 3 times, set throttle to FAST, push electric start button. For recoil start: Insert key, press primer bulb 3 times, set throttle to FAST, pull recoil starter cord firmly.

Personal Pace®: Squeeze control lever against handle to engage drive; release to stop. Speed increases as you squeeze further.

Height Adjustment: Move single lever to desired setting (1-12 positions). Ensure all wheels are at same height.

Stopping: Release Personal Pace lever, move engine control lever to STOP. Remove key.

Cutting Systems

The Super Recycler® system allows three modes:

  1. Mulching: Install mulching plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to lawn as nutrient-rich mulch.
  2. Bagging: Attach grass bag. Collects clippings for disposal or composting.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove both mulching plug and grass bag. Discharges clippings to the side (use with optional side discharge chute).

Tip: For best mulching results, mow when grass is dry and do not cut more than 1/3 of grass height at once.

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.
