Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Socket set
  • Safety gloves

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and verify all parts are included according to the parts list.
  2. Handle Assembly: Attach the upper and lower handle sections using provided bolts and washers. Tighten securely.
  3. Install Wheels: Attach rear wheels to the deck using axle and washers. Ensure wheels rotate freely.
  4. Attach Bag or Mulch Plug: Install the grass collection bag or mulch plug according to your preference.
  5. Add Engine Oil: Fill the engine with the recommended SAE 30 oil to the proper level on the dipstick.
  6. Add Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with fresh unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
  7. Initial Start-up: Follow starting procedure in the engine manual. Allow engine to warm up before mowing.

Troubleshooting

Maintenance Schedule

  • Before each use: Check oil level, inspect blade, clear deck of debris

  • Every 100 hours: Replace air filter, replace spark plug
  • Season end: Add fuel stabilizer, clean entire mower, store properly
