Maintenance Schedule

Tools Needed:

  • Socket set
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Spark plug wrench
  • Air pressure gauge
  • Oil drain pan
  • Sharpening kit

Regular Maintenance Tasks

  1. Before Each Use: Check oil level, inspect air filter, ensure blades are sharp and undamaged, check tire pressure.
  2. Every 25 Hours: Clean or replace air filter, check spark plug condition, inspect blade for sharpness and balance.
  3. Every 50 Hours: Change engine oil, clean under deck, lubricate wheel bearings and height adjusters.
  4. Every 100 Hours: Replace spark plug, clean cooling fins, check drive system adjustment.
  5. Seasonal: Sharpen or replace blade, check and adjust drive cable, clean fuel system, store properly.
  6. Annual: Replace air filter, change oil filter (if equipped), inspect safety systems.
