Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Socket set
  • Safety gloves and glasses

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect parts for damage during shipping.
  2. Handle Assembly: Attach the upper and lower handle sections using provided bolts and hardware.
  3. Wheel Installation: Install all four wheels onto the axle using the provided washers and cotter pins.
  4. Deck Height Adjustment: Set the cutting height adjustment lever to desired position and secure.
  5. Engine Preparation: Check oil level, add gasoline (unleaded only), and install spark plug.
  6. Safety Features: Verify that all safety switches and blade control systems are functioning properly.
  7. Initial Start-up: Perform initial start-up following engine manufacturer's break-in procedure.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Engine won't start Empty fuel tank, old gasoline, spark plug issue Add fresh gasoline, check spark plug, ensure choke is set properly

Maintenance Schedule

  • Season end: Drain fuel or add stabilizer, clean thoroughly
