Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Drive control lever, Blade control lever, Height adjustment lever.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Check oil and fuel levels.
  2. Push primer bulb 3 times (cold engine).
  3. Set throttle to FAST position.
  4. Pull recoil starter handle firmly.

Operating: Squeeze drive control lever to handle to engage drive. Squeeze blade control lever to handle to engage blade. Release levers to stop.

Stopping: Release both control levers. Move throttle to STOP position.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Adjust all four wheels equally for level cut.

  1. Locate height adjustment lever on each wheel.
  2. Pull lever outward and move to desired setting (1.5 to 4 inches).
  3. Ensure all levers are set to same position.

Tip: For first mow of season, set to highest setting. Gradually lower for subsequent mows.

CAUTION! Never store mower with fuel in tank for more than 30 days without stabilizer.
